Silkat is a family business with Romanian capital. Three young entrepreneurs, Silvia Mănescu, Costi Mănescu and the godfather of the two, Cătălin Stanciu, founded the Silkat Electric Grup business in 2003. Together they built and developed the business with sacrifices, compromises and trust – the mandatory condition for success!

Being a family business, there was always the advantage of quickly implementing ideas or making adjustments to directions without needing approvals, complicated procedures, and evolution and success came naturally. There have always been reliable members in the team and that has ensured the healthy and harmonious growth of the business over the years. The first contracts consisted of collaborations with mobile phone operators for which works were carried out to supply electricity to GSM antenna poles. And the quality of SILKAT services has propelled the business from supplying a few poles to hundreds of works throughout Romania. Based on the accumulated experience, they later tackled execution and assembly works for larger targets such as silos, sewage treatment plants, residential complexes, photovoltaic parks, private distribution networks. Throughout this period of more than 20 years, they have become partners for most of the national electricity distributors Enel, CEZ, Electrică, performing for them modernization and expansion of medium voltage electrical networks, replacement of metering systems in localities and intervention services for fixing network faults. Our team has also gained experience in the execution of works outside the country with construction sites in the Netherlands, Belgium, Great Britain and Germany. At the moment, Silkat Electric Grup is involved in the execution of works for ENEL Distribucie, in the installation of photovoltaic systems for the production of electricity and in other construction sites where it executes electrical installations in the 04-20kVA voltage range.
